Facebook

Facebook was accused of committing 'systemic' racial bias by EEOC based mostly on the complaints of three rejected candidates and a current employee of the corporate. The three rejected staff along with the Operational Manager at Facebook as of March 2021 accused the agency of discriminating towards Black individuals. On July 29, 2011, Facebook introduced its Bug Bounty Program that paid safety researchers a minimal of $500 for reporting safety holes. The company promised to not pursue "white hat" hackers who recognized such problems. This led researchers in lots of countries to participate, particularly in India and Russia. They later sued Zuckerberg, settling in 2008 for 1.2 million shares (worth $300 million at Facebook's IPO).
